The DÖLCO UV Endoscope Camera VE-468520 UV is the special tool for non-destructive leak detection with fluorescein tracer dye. In addition to the normal LED lighting on the camera head, a UV LED with 365 nm wavelength is integrated — separately switchable to normal light. This allows exact visual inspection of tracer dye applications (e.g., with the AWU2 set) even in inaccessible cavities. Application example silicone joints: The joints in the shower or bathtub are sprayed with fluorescein tracer and rinsed. A small hole through the plaster or cladding underneath is enough — with the VE-468520 UV, you can check precisely via the UV lighting whether the medium is penetrating through a leaking joint. No breaking open with hammer and chisel, no consequential damage to tiles or plaster. The larger 8.5 mm camera head — necessary for the integration of the UV LED — is equipped with a 2 m long flexible insertion tube, ideal for inspecting deeper cavities. The 2-way swivel head with 180° articulation allows precise navigation, the 4,400 mAh battery is sufficient for long sessions. Photo and video recording directly on the device.
