Participation and Cancellation Terms for Seminars

Scope, registration and payment

The seminars of the DÖLCO Academy are aimed exclusively at entrepreneurs within the meaning of § 14 of the German Civil Code (BGB).
Registration is binding. The contract is concluded upon our confirmation of participation. The automatic confirmation of receipt sent after submission does not constitute acceptance. The applicant is bound by their registration for five working days. Within this period, they will receive either a confirmation of participation or a rejection from us.
The seminar fee must be paid before the start of the seminar.

Cancellation must be declared in text form by e-mail to akademie@doelco.de. The date of receipt by us is decisive.
Cancellations made up to 30 days before the start of the seminar are free of charge.
For cancellations 29 to 14 days before the start of the seminar, we charge 50% of the seminar fee.
For cancellations 13 days or less before the start of the seminar or in case of non-attendance, the full seminar fee must be paid.
A substitute participant can be named at any time without additional costs.
The participant reserves the right to prove that we have incurred no or significantly lower damages.

We may cancel a seminar if the minimum number of participants is not reached or for other important reasons (e.g., illness of the instructor), or exclude individual participants for good cause. In such cases, we will fully refund any seminar fees already paid. Further claims, such as for travel or hotel costs, only exist in cases of intent or gross negligence.
We reserve the right to replace speakers and adjust content, provided that the seminar objective is not significantly altered.

Seminar documents are intended for personal use only and may not be passed on or reproduced.
German law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Freiburg im Breisgau.
