Proven electro-acoustic method for non-destructive leak detection — mains-operated

The FD3 electro-acoustic leak detector has been the workhorse in non-destructive flat roof leak detection for years. It uses the proven electro-acoustic principle: a defined current is fed into the rainwater on the roof surface; at the leak point, the current flows downwards through the leak. The voltage distribution on the roof surface is scanned with the measuring probe — leak points are clearly localized via acoustic signals. The advantage over smoke gas or tracer gas methods: The FD3 works particularly reliably on flat roofs with a homogeneous water layer. The roof covering does not need to be cleared, the area remains unchanged. The mains-operated model (10215) is the standard version for drying service providers and experts — robust, reliable, with analog display and 30 m connection cable between generator and handheld unit. The operating hours counter documents the usage.
