The DÖLCO FD5 is the ideal companion for the TG1 during flat roof leak detection. Instead of sniffing centimeter by centimeter over the roof surface with the hand-held measuring head, the FD5 systematically travels over the test area and specifically takes air samples from a covered measuring hood. Active suction system: The integrated active suction system continuously draws the air under the measuring hood to the TG1 measuring head. This reliably detects tracer gas rising even from deeper layers or under gravel layers — passive sniffing above the surface would often miss such leaks. Blow-out function (reset): After every positive detection, the hood is flooded with tracer gas. The active blow-out function flushes the hood in seconds, allowing the next measurement position to be approached without waiting time. This makes flat roof inspection fast and the measurement results reproducible. Mobile design: Large-volume wheels, ergonomic handle and stable chassis allow inspection even on rough bitumen, gravel and foil roofs. Combined with the TG1 hand-held measuring head, a two-stage search is possible — area pre-location with the FD5, followed by pinpoint localization with the hand-held measuring head.
