01
Standard

Suction method

Negative pressure method

Functional principle

Air is extracted from the insulation layer, room air flows in through expansion joints.

✓ Advantages
  • Simple setup
  • Exhaust air can be filtered
  • Proven standard method
✗ Disadvantages
  • Almost always destructive (drill holes every 5 m²)
  • Limited air circulation
  • Longer drying time
02
DÖLCO development

Positive pressure method

DÖLCO in-house development since the 1970s

Functional principle

Warm air (55-60°C) is introduced into the insulation layer and transports moisture out.

✓ Advantages
  • Very efficient
  • Only 1 drill hole per 25 m²
  • Compatible with DÖLCO VMD unit
  • Faster drying
✗ Disadvantages
  • Uncontrolled air leakage possible
  • Unfiltered exhaust air

Hermetic push-pull method

Combination of positive pressure + controlled suction

Functional principle

Controlled combination of positive pressure introduction and filtered suction -- for maximum efficiency with minimal intervention.

✓ Advantages
  • Non-destructive drying via edge joint nozzles
  • 30% faster -- 2-3 weeks instead of 3-4 weeks
  • Filtered, clean exhaust air (HEPA)
  • Same efficiency as positive pressure method
  • Mold prevention through germ reduction

Push-pull method

30% faster than standard

The DÖLCO hermetic push-pull method dries in 2-3 weeks, where classic methods require 3-4 weeks. Back to normal faster.

Germ reduction methods
for the insulation layer

With water damage, there is always a risk of microbial contamination. DÖLCO offers patented methods for effective germ reduction in the insulation layer.

DÖLCO impulse method
Patented method for highly efficient germ reduction in the insulation layer.
🌊
Insulation layer flushing
Systematic flushing of the insulation layer with conditioned air.
🌀
Ozonization
Targeted ozone treatment to kill mold and bacteria.
🌫️
Nebulization
Introduction of disinfectants into the insulation layer via nebulization.

Note: The DÖLCO impulse method for germ reduction is patented and available exclusively within the DÖLCO system partner network.
